Hello May i please get your template I really like your mask and i want to make it for my masquerade ball because I can't find the better please help I really really really like ur please send me the template as soon as possible
This is brilliant! I actually made an account just to comment on how much I liked this. I might suggest as a way of attaching it to your face: liquid latex, like you'd do for latex makeup prosthesis. You'd put the mask on your face, trace around where it sits with a thin eyeliner pencil, then you'd paint a line of liquid latex just inside the pencil like and affix your mask. I'm not sure how it would affect the glue (probably not very much) but it's easy enough to remove, although much like the eyelash glue, it'll hurt a bit and you can't take it on and off.
Hi!! ^^ Aww I'm so touched! I do stuff like that too! And I would love to try your method of using liquid latex, but unfortunately they don't sell that stuff where I live D: I haven't seen it anywhere but if they did sell it, it would be reeally reeaally expensive :/ I'll try it if I ever get a chance to though! Thanks for that suggestion and being so sweet Show me pictures if you try this out!
Hi,sorry to butt in - I'm a beauty therapist & I had a thought that might help. It combines both of ur ideas actually - latex false eyelash glue. The free glue that comes with false eyelashes is really cheap & not very good, but if u buy a good brand brand like Duo (or whatever they have where u live), they'll have both latex & latex-free.
Be prepared to use a lot, because ur mask is much heavier than the adhesive is designed to hold. You will need to warm the tube up before squeezing it out, as the contents separate a bit & need to be mixed. Once squeezed, allow glue to dry just a little & become tacky before applying pressure. Good luck
Hi! Thanks for your suggestion! Actually I did use DUO eyelash glue during my prom! I only had to dot it on some points on the mask and it stayed pretty well until I decided to take it off! The mask isnt that heavy surprisingly! haha I'm glad people still look at this a year after I made the tutorial! Thanks for your help again!
Thank you! :3 It actually doesn't require much space; the one I made is about 14" by 12". And you could always just make, say, five koi only. I have to add that your profile picture is really clever with the rainbow coming out of the oreo halves. It accurately describes the party in my mouth caused by oreos.
This is such a creative idea! I visited venice recently and all of these masks were so expensive, so this is a great alternative. Thank you for sharing x
Awww! Thank you! D I went to Venice a few years back too! The masks there still look awesome though! I'm SO glad you guys find this useful because I was really happy how my mask turned out as well ^^
