As a long-time listener of Korean pop (K-pop), I love watching music videos to catch a glimpse of overseas Asian fashion. I first saw this adorable headband in Kang Ji Young's (from KARA) solo music video titled "Wanna Do" and later in G.na's "Oops" video from a few months ago. I did a more subtle version by using flatter studs instead of the taller cone studs, which makes it more suitable for casual wear, and in my favorite color: purple!

1. Use your headband as a guide to measure and cut out a slightly longer length of ribbon (about 1-2 inches more). 2. Use a ruler and pen to mark where your studs will go. I did about a 1 1/2" space between each stud. 3. Push the stud's prongs through the ribbon and bend them down to secure.
4. Squeeze a thin line of glue onto your headband blank and attach your ribbon, leaving the excess to hang over both ends. Trim any frays. 5. On the inside of the ends, squeeze a little bit of glue and fold over the ribbon. Let dry overnight.
That's it! Wouldn't this also look lovely in mint? Feel free to play around with the ribbon and stud colors :) And if you're unfamiliar with K-pop, I'd encourage you to click on the music video links and give them a listen :)
