I always look for something new to do, and I found this on YouTube. AndreasChoice inspired me to make this, here's the link- http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q28Gsplw8o

Instructions

  1. Small image

Get a plain jumper:) I got mine from Amazon - Fruit of the loom, cost around £8 ish.

  2. Small image

Cut out what you wish to put on your jumper, it could be anything from a heart to a cross, but make it easy-Ish so you can put studs around it!:) try to make it even- unless you're not into symmetrical stuff. If the material is quite transparent (like mine was) cut out another piece of the same or a different material to just put underneath :)

  3. Small image

Get your studs! I needed around 100ish. I also ordered these off Amazon, I couldn't find them anywhere else, they were around £3 :) I recommend the ones that have 4 little teeth rather than 2 teeth, they hold better in the jumper:)

  4. Small image

Glue on your cross or whatever shape you've chosen to do:) Put the glue all around the edges so it stays in place!

  5. Small image

Start putting your studs in!:) Try to put them through your cross as well since you don't want it to frey or come off, so basically the studs hold it in place!:) I wouldn't recommend you using your fingers or nails to push down the teeth of the studs (I did this, ouch) because you, might ruin your nails!:( I used the back on my tweezers :) And careful- don't stab or prick yourself too much! Hehe

  6. Small image

Phew! That took a while didn't it? Or is it just me?:') Well done for getting this far and still being alive! Now, you can either leave it like this...OR...

  7. Small image

Add some studs on the collar (if you have a collar on your jumper) I think it looks pretty neat, huh?:)

  8. Small image

The gap was just two of my fingers:)

  9. Small image

AND...Voila! YAY! Your unique jumper is made!:) Hope you have fun crafting:D
