Instructions

  1. Small step1

First, you'll need to rip the rubber strip off of each of the boards.

  2. Small step2

Next, you'll need to glue the two boards together using your hot glue gun.

  3. Small step3

Now lay the two pieces of felt over top of the board. Carefully lift the felt and glue the felt to the board.

  4. Small step4

Once you're done gluing the felt to the board, flip the board over and trim the excess felt from around the edges of the board.

  5. Small step5

Measure out pieces of ribbon to glue over top of the felt. I left about one inch on each side so that I could fold the ribbon behind the board. Once you've measured out all your pieces, start gluing the pieces to the board.

  6. Small step6

Now, flip the board over so that you are looking at the back of the board. Carefully fold the excess ribbon over the edges of the board and glue. Continue gluing the excess ribbon down until finished.

  7. Small step7

The back of your board should look like this when you're done gluing the excess ribbon down.

  8. Small step8

Measure out the pieces of ribbon for your jewelry and hair bows. I used a medium width grosgrain ribbon for mine. Once you have your pieces laid out, fold the excess ribbon to the back of the board and glue.

  9. Small step9

Next, you'll need to add a piece of ribbon for a hanger.

  10. Small step10

Lastly, use duct tape to finish the edges of the back of the board. This makes it look a bit cleaner, and helps hold the edges of the ribbon taught.
