By the way, this is my first how-to. I did a drawing of this horror ice-cream in my diary and thought it would be cool as a top. I came up with the name I-SCREAM after this ice-cream shop called NICE-CREAMS and I thought it suited the cute drawing too. My painted i-scream came a little blotchy but I kinda like it because it gives it a little Horror effect. My only fabric paint was white and black but you can use other colors if you want.

First grab an old tank that you don't mind killing - I mean painting ;)
Secondly, get a piece of paper and a pencil and draw an i-scream. When it's about perfect, outline the pencil drawing with a marker. On the paper NOT the top, yet..
Next, place the paper underneath the top and trace the outlines WITH a pencil. Don't do the the tiny details, it's pointless because you're going to paint over it anyway.
Paint the picture. By the way, you may want to open a window, the paint smells and it gave me a headache -_- It's a little tricky doing small paintings on a corner, for the really tiny details, I advice to use a pin or a toothpick. Saves the mess.
Your top is finished painting. Leave to dry for a half hour.
Then you have to iron the paint to make it permanent, it also makes the painted area of you top soft again. Get a dry towel, place it over the paint, iron at hot temperature for 1-2 minutes.
Voi La! Your I-scream top is ready to scare everyone. Hope your results come good and not blotchy like mine.
