Start to unscrew the screw behind the little ball used as a shoulder on your drawing figure. You should then be able to pull off the arm of your drawing figure, repeat on the other side.
Put the hot glue in the arm (there should be a hole in the arm where it was attached to the 'shoulder') and stick it back onto the shoulder. Hold it there for about 10 seconds. Repeat on the other arm.
Now you need to glue the forearm (it should be freely dangling from the other part of the arm), this part is a bit difficult, just put some glue onto the joint of the forearm and basically do what you did before. Make sure you plan out what you want the arms to look like before you glue them on.
Paint your drawing figure gold, have the legs in the position you want, or when they move you'll see the normal wood 'skin' of the drawing figure. When you get to the base of your drawing figure just paint the top of the stand, only do this if you're going to do the optional step #5.
Now you can put your neon pink washi tape (or whatever color tape you chose to use) around the base. Carefully make sure the tape doesn't overlap onto the paint above, also make sure the paint is totally dry before you apply the tape.
