This was inspired by the headband (on the girl in the denim jacket above) from Urban Outfitters. It's a little pricey so I picked up some fake flowers for $4 and used what I had around to create this fun headband that I love! ****PS an easier way to do this would be to hot glue fake flowers to a plastic headband. It looks just as good and holds together just as well!*****

Cut leaves and flowers off bouquet as close as possible.
Cut tiny strips of a matching colored felt- enough for one for each flower.
Measure small elastic around your head and sew together securely making sure there is not twist. Re-check that it still fits and make adjustments if necessary.
Sew strips of felt on to headband close together (almost overlapping).
Hand sew flowers on to felt and headband with matching thread. It gets a little tedious. Sew through petals and plastic on to felt and headband.
Once all flowers are on, snip excess felt off while watching out not to cut through stitches.
You can sew the leaves on or just slide them/bobby pin them under the headband like I did. (if you want the leaves)
Voila! You're done!
