First step is for the anchor accent nail. Super simple - paint your nail white! For the rest of your nails, use your black paint. (refer to 2nd picture for clarification, if needed)
Next, using your paintbrush and black acrylic paint, shape an anchor. If you mess up, don't worry, just use your white acrylic paint to correct your mistakes.
These next steps are both for the accent nail and the other nails. Use your lighter blue paint to make your flower petals like so. Don't sweat it if you can't get 5 petals to fit, four works just as well!
Use your darker blue paint on the inside of the petals like so.
Long process, I know, but use your black paint on the inside of the flower like so.
I kind of showed two steps here. First, paint whole leaves outside your flowers. Secondly, use your black paint again to make a line down the middle.
Use the yellow acrylic paint and a dotting tool if necessary to make the dots like so.
and here's all those steps inside of our original anchor! Basically, yes, paint half flowers inside to give the illusion that the anchor is cut out. Again, don't sweat it if you accidentally get outside the anchor, just use your white paint to touch up. Lastly, in my original design (second picture!) I topped off my design with matte top coat.
