Description

Create one of these pretty fabric flowers and add a bobby pin... and voila! An instant improvement on a regular old ponytail.

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting eight circles, each with a diameter of 2 inches. Take one circle and fold it in half, and then fold it in half again. Sew it together at the center point with a few stitches. Repeat this same process again, sewing the second piece right to the first one. Then continue doing this with the remaining six pieces.

  2. Small 103166 2f2014 07 10 143348 hairflower2

Sew a few reinforcing stitches through all of the pieces. Attach the bobby pin to the bottom of the fabric cluster by wrapping the thread around the bend in the bobby pin a few times. Knot your thread, trim, and fluff up the flower petals... and you're finished!
