Diy Fabric Covered Buttons

Recycle old buttons and cover them with pretty fabric!

You Will Need (1 thing)

Steps (6 steps, 15 minutes)

    Trace a button onto a piece of fabric.

    Embroider a design on it (or you can leave it plain) and cut it out with a 1/4 inch border around the button shape.

    Using thread, sew a running stitch around the outside edge of the circle.

  4. 4

    Put the button on the fabric, and then pull the thread tight.

  5. 5

    Glue down the edges, then cut another circle of fabric (I cut mine the same size as my button) and glue that on top.

    Use your fabric covered buttons in all your crafty projects!
