Jars are one of my favourite things to keep on hand for crafting. You can decorate them in a million-and-one ways, you can create gifts and projects with them, and then at the end you can use them to store your goodies.

Decide what type of design you want to have on your jar label. I used some vintage-style floral pictures that I had sketched as inspiration.
Cut a square of loose-weave fabric (I used unprimed canvas) to fit your jar.
Embroider your design on the fabric. You don't have to stick to flowers... try words or a geometric design!
To adhere the label to the jar use Mod Podge on the back of the embroidered fabric and then all over the label once it was attached – this prevents the edges of the canvas from fraying. Voila!
