Diy Duct Tape Steampunk Top Hat

Last Halloween my boyfriend and I went as (steampunk) Alice & Mad Hatter. So I made this top hat inspired by a tutorial I'd found on here.

The photo of the hat looking a lot more gold was when I thought I was done. I later went back and added more texture and different colors of spray paint. We have gold, some copper and spritzes of black for a gritty look.

I also made myself a big bow to go with it. I attached the bow to a bit of an old black & white checkered tie to make a head band.
