Use plain Ikea plates to create a statement piece for any room in your house.

Instructions

1. 

   Find a plain plate to work with and make sure it's clean and dry. These are from Ikea and were $1.

2. 

   Select stencils from your local craft store, or print out a favourite pattern on thick computer paper.

3. 

   Cut out the reverse of the pattern so you can paint out the pattern.

4. 

   Adhere the pattern with tape, and paint inside the lines. Repeat for all plates.
