This pair of shoes has a salient part of fastening shoestring at the center of vamp. So you must pay attention to its shape. Cut outside fabric with seam allowance by tracing a rough template of shoes. Trim the cotton lining into actual shape of shoes and iron it on wrong side of outside fabric. Cut out lining fabric and sew the heels of outside fabric and lining fabric standby. Place two pieces of small cloths wrong side outside; sew the edges with an opening side. Turn it inside out, a shoestring is done. Shear the salient part of outside fabric. Pin the shoestring on one side of a shoe and pin the lining fabric with outside fabric.
Sew vamp Sew them along the edge of cotton lining and leave an opening at the part of shoestring. Turn the shoe inside out and sew the opening. Pin the vamp with sole fabric and the bottom is shown as the following picture. Sew the sole with the vamp.
Sew sole Sew the salient part to make sure the shoestring can string through it easily. Fold extra fabric of vamp to cover the sole and sew them together. Prepare the other sole with cotton lining and pin it at the bottom of the shoe.
Add embellishment Sew the sole with the shoe by hidden stitch. Cut out a piece of round cloth and thread it along the edge. Pull the thread and put quilting in, you will see a small ball. Sew it at the back of the shoe.
