Got a few remnants? Do you dare to make a DIY Crop Top? Then follow this tutorial to get your own replica of Balmain's design cloned by Zara!
As you'll see it's a DIY project suitable for beginner and "anarchic" seamstress like me. Make the most of the occasion to use all those jean scraps you've been keeping. I've recycled a pair of legs of a jean I transformed . What are you going to work with?

You Will Need (10 things)
- 1 Zip
- 1 Velcro
- 10 Pin(s)
- 1 Fabric Chalk
- 1 Pen(s)
- 1 Sewing Machine
- 1 Thread
- 1 Needle
- 1 Newspaper
- 1 Jeans Scraps
Steps (11 steps, 60 minutes)

You'll need legs from an old jean, newspapers to draw pattern, velcro or zipper, measuring tape, fabric chalk, pen, pins, needle and thread or sewing machine.

Mark and cut your pattern in paper. Just for your orientation to make a 40 or L size I've used: two 10 x 80cms rectangles for straps, two 24 x 16cms rectangles for sides and four 14 x 27cms rectangles for central parts.

Pass pattern to fabric and cut all pieces.

Fold straps in half, sew them and turn them over.

Put 2 central parts together and sew them. x 2

Sew top hem to central and side pieces.

Sew central pieces to straps as shown in this picture.

Sew side parts to straps.

Cut back central part in half and sew bottom hem to the whole piece.

Sew velcro or zipper so you can open and close your top.

And done! Enjoy your new crop top made from old jeans legs :)
