I've made so many of these chalkboards since entering the world of craft shows and etsy. I use them for my page listings and on my table to tell customers what they're looking at and other important information. I just made up another one of these for a bridal shower to create a dessert menu on.
I've made so many of these chalkboards since entering the world of craft shows and etsy. I use them for my page listings and on my table to tell customers what they're looking at and other important information. I just made up another one of these for a bridal shower to create a dessert menu on.
Mix about 2 fl. ounces of acrylic paint with 1 tbsp baking soda.
Paint 2 coats of mixture onto wood, allowing to dry in between coats.
After your board is dry (I let mine sit overnight), season your chalkboard. Take a piece of chalk on its side and drag across until your board is coated. Gently wipe off.
