This has been by far the most affordable DIY, because I literally made it from scraps of things lying at my home and if you don’t have cork or a mouse pad to upholster then you are at the right place cause I’m going to use cardboard as the name suggests DIY Cardboard Mouse pad to make this mouse pad which can be found so very easily.
I did my homework of cutting my cardboard’s in a circle shape, by outlining a 7.5′ inch/19cm plate over the cardboard and my scrap faux leather similarly to give me 2 pieces each . You will start by applying glue to one side of the cardboard piece
Then press them down gently and leave them aside to dry .Being restless I couldn’t stop myself from going ahead but if you are patient do wait for 5 minutes the least or as per the drying time of your glue, meanwhile grabbing some green tea or coffee
Now carefully tape the edge of your newly stuck cardboard pieces making sure that the tape runs around the piece reaching to both sides equally
Get your glue back to work, now the thing is I made a mistake I went spiral and you can see that below. This shape shows up but I’m fine with it as it will flatten itself to a good extent with time and usage ,but it would be best to spread your glue uniformly and then top it with your faux leather. You want to press them mildly though to get them all set and done.
And voila here you have your mouse pad for almost nothing,a lil imperfect but my own.
