You Will Need (5 things)

  • Really Big Jig 228P-800
  • 16 Gauge Artistic Wire
  • Cutter
  • Bent Chain Nose Pliers
  • Bail Making Pliers

Steps (20 steps, 90 minutes)

  1. 1

Put the Pegs into the holes as shown to form the shape of the hanger.

  2. 2

Poke the Wire down into one of the holes at the top of the Really Big Jig above the top peg to secure it in place.

  3. 3

Bring the Wire down through the two sets of pegs and down to the
left, as shown, in between the sets of pegs on the angle, and around the left most pegs on the bottom.

  4. 4

Bring the Wire up and to the left of the first peg in the bottom row.

  5. 5

Bend the Wire around the bottom pegs in a zig zag line. Use Bent
Chain Nose Pliers to gently push the Wire down against the Jig.

  6. 6

Continue to zig zag the wire around the pegs.

  7. 7

When you reach the last peg, wrap the Wire to the right of it and up to the right of the next peg.

  8. 8

Wrap the Wire through the sets of pegs on the right and through the two pegs at the top of the triangle shape. Pull the wire up to the top to complete the Hanger.

  9. 9

Cut the wire so that it’s even with the beginning, and cut the beginning Wire to remove it from the Jig.

  10. 10

Remove the Hanger from the Jig.

  11. 11

Hold the Hanger at the join and use Chain Nose Pliers to twist together the Wires at the top of the Hanger together.

  12. 12

Cut the ends of the Wire flush.

  13. 13

Use your fingers to gently bend the top of the Hanger back at a slight angle.

  14. 14

Use your fingers or a round object to form the twisted wires into the shape of a hook.

  15. 15

Use your fingers to reshape the Hanger.

  16. 16

Bend a piece of Wire around one side of the bottom of the Hanger.

  17. 17

Weave the Wire back and forth in between the curves of the Wire.

  18. 18

Secure the end of the Wire by wrapping it around the Hanger form several times.

  19. 19

Use the Bail Making Pliers or a Round Nose Pliers to gently bend each loop - alternating toward and away from you.

  20. 20

Hang your Jewelry for storage or display!
