I own a jacket that looks exactly like this, except that I bought mine for 50 dollars, on sale. Yours looks just as good, if not better. Kudos.

You're so right EVEnl! It's a great way to put your personal stamp on something...and this trend looks like it's slowly petering out anyway...so why not spend just a few dollars on some nice trims/buttons instead of $40+ for a whole new jacket!

Those jackets really are awesome! Making your own truly is the solution coz' everyone is wearing the one from H&M and simply buying it will never make your look unique.

AGREED! have you ever seen something you want but can't afford or fit on you...I have that issue and that's why I always make my own things...this tut is soo cool so I'm emensa happy (^o^)

wonderful! I've been meaning to do this myself for awhile. I simply adore Modcloth's Batallion Jacket, and thought i could make one pretty easily...
