I'm moved into an apartment and I didn't want to spend gobs of money on dish rags and hot pads for my counter tops/tables... they usually get ruined and beat up anyway... so I made my own! So I forked up about $2 for a small roll of yarn and cranked out about 4 -5 rags. They're super easy to make and easy to care for since they're 100% cotton. They also made excellent gifts for Christmas this year for the chef in my family :-)
