I love a good Dollar Tree find, but my boys eventually tire of the toys or they break within a few days. So when I can find a secondary use for an already thrifty find, it's a win, win. Follow these simple steps to create a toothbrush, q-tip or plant holder of your own! xo

Using an x-acto knife (any sharp knife will do, I just like how small, pointy and sharp x-acto blades are), cut a hole(s) into your hollow dino!
Once the holes are cut, take the dinosaurs outside and spray paint in desired color.
I originally intended my craft to be a toothbrush holder, but that didn't work out so well for my boys. No bother. If you cut your hole too small or change the idea for the project, simply go back and make the hole larger. Come on... that's some easy crafternoon fun right there.
