You Will Need (4 things)
- Super Glue
- 1 x Craft Knife
- small amount Oven Bake Clay
- Black Fine Liner Pen
Steps (10 steps, 45 minutes)
-
1
Draw out a diamond shape on a piece of cardboard to make a template. The size should be roughly 1cm.
-
2
Cut this out using a craft knife and a metal ruler to get sharp lines.
-
3
Place a piece of baking paper on a board. This makes it easier to transfer the shaped clay on to a baking sheet and stops it sticking. Roll out a small piece of oven bake clay to an even thickness of about 5mm.
-
4
Place the cardboard diamond template on the clay and press down lightly. This will stop it moving around as you cut. Using a sharp craft knife cut around the template. Repeat so you have you have two shapes the same.
-
5
Bake according to the instructions on the clay and allow to cool.
-
6
Use sandpaper or a nail file smooth the edges of the diamond shapes.
-
7
Using a fine line pen draw on lines to look like the facets on a cut diamond.
-
8
Once the ink is dry. Turn the shapes over and a dot of strong glue on to the back of each one.
-
9
Glue on your earring posts.
-
10
Allow the glue to dry and you are all done!
