I prefer a matte face, but sometimes I love dewy face. A dewy face is one that looks lusciously moist and shiny, but not greasy.
I prefer a matte face, but sometimes I love dewy face. A dewy face is one that looks lusciously moist and shiny, but not greasy.
Start with a fresh clean face. I clearly have eyeliner/mascara on, but, this tutorial has nothing to do with the eyes.
Moisturize. Yeah yeah, I have oily skin but this says it's for dry skin. It's a thinner moisturizer, and since I am going to moisturize twice, I don't want to use a thick moisturizer.
Apply concealer on all your blemishes.
< That's my tinted moisturizer. It's just moisturizer, liquid foundation and a little powder to make it more matte looking.
Apply it all over. I have oily skin so moisturizing is a must for my face, which is why I moisturize before and then use a tinted moisturizer after.
Sqirt fondation onto the back of your hand. That way your body heat warms it.
Using whatever utensil you find necessary, apply foundation where you want to even your skin tone at only. Not all over, mostly because you will look more greasy than dewy. Where I put mine is coincidentally where I put my concealer.
And powder your face lightly with ntranslucent/loose powder. If you use pressed powder, it will look cakey.
If you want a matte face then you're done, but we want some slight sheen.
I use a light champagne eyehshadow color for my highlight for dewy skin. However, you could do a white.
Apply highlight in these areas: no the nose, browbone, and cheekbones.
And, tada! You are now looking lusciously dewy.
