Cast off using only one of the threads. Secure and trim ends leaving at least 22cm, these will be incorporated into the fringe.
To make the fringe cut lengths of yarn about 35 cm long (a DVD case is useful for measuring for this purpose).
Using 5 lengths per tassel start at the back point and work evenly up each side. Ensure that each tassel is pushed through and secured in the same direction for a neat finish.
Finally trim ends of the tassles evenly.
