Demi Lovato has gorgeous brown eyes. If I had the opportunity to give her a makeover, I would go for a really bold and fun blue eyeshadow look since blues really make brown eyes pop. However, even if your eyes aren't brown, you can still rock this look! It's perfect for parties or just even for days you're feeling a bit bold!
Since we're working with bright eyeshadows, you're going to want to prime your eyelids with a white base. You don't necessarily have to do this, but your eyeshadows will show up a lot brighter if you do.
The first color we're going to be using is an electric blue eyeshadow. Apply that color all over your lids. The use a fluffier eyeshadow brush to blend that color out to create a softer finish.
Then, you're going to want to take a baby color and apply that to your bottom lash line. For this look, I used a dense rounded brush for this step, but if you're worried about putting too much of the color at once you can of course use an angled eyeliner brush and build the color up that way. I just used the rounded brush because it deposits the color more softly instead of it just looking like a harsh thick line.
Go back in with that electric blue eyeshadow and apply it to just the outer half of your bottom lash line, blending it upward so that it lines up with the color on your eyelids.
For the inner eye corner highlight I went with a pearly muted olive color. You can use any neutral-toned eyeshadow for an inner corner highlight for this look. I didn't use a pale blue because I felt like it would blend with the lower lash line color.
Now that your eyeshadow is all done, use a black liquid eyeliner and use it to draw on a thick cat-eye to your top lash line.
Curl your eyelashes and apply some mascara. Also apply mascara to your bottom lashes to give your eyes an overall more defined look. This will also make the eyeshadow on your lower lash line look darker and as if there is more depth.
To stay consistent with Demi's usual makeup look, it'd only be appropriate to incorporate falsies into this makeover. Tip: after applying the glue to the band, wait about a minute for the glue to get tacky -- this will make the whole process of getting them to stay in place a lot easier.
Since this look is really all about the eyes, I went with a really neutral brownish-pink toned color. You can use whatever neutral/nude lip color that suits your skin tone. And now you have the complete look!
