So my friend gave me these roses she got for valentines day. I thought I do something creepy and dead looking with them. First I hung them out to dry, for about 3 months, I sorta forgot about them. I made sure to hang them upside down, I didn't want that droopy head look. After they were good and dried out, I separated the roses, baby's breath, and those green filler things (I threw these out). I spray panted the baby's breath white. Then I covered up the rose petals. They had dried to this almost blackish red color, and I wanted to keep that, so I wrapped the roses in napkins. My mom mentioned that saran-wrap would have been better. Then I spray painted those black. I was mostly just spraying the stems, and the little green bits under the petals. After the roses had dried I carefully pulled off the napkins. A few of the petals fell off, so I glued them back on with some Elmer's glue then held them in place with saran-wrap. Once that was done, I dug out an old vase, and put the baby's breath and roses in and done! A beautifully dead looking flower arrangement.
