A nice, rich potatoe dish.

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 750 g Potatoes Finely sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Crushed
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 200 ml Single Cream
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs
  • 80 g Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 200 ml Stock
  • Optional

  • 1 small Onions Finely sliced
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Steps (5 steps, 50 minutes)

    Heat oven 200 degrees.

    Place sliced potatoes & onion if using into a pan.

    Season with salt & pepper.

    Add the garlic, bay leaf, cream, nutmeg, herbs & 40 g of parmigiana.

    Stir to coat & mix everything.

    Pour over the hot stock.

    Bring to the boil & simmer for 10 mins until potatoes are tender.

    Transfer the potatoes to an oven dish.

    Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top & bake for 15 mins until the edges are golden.

    Serve.
