Here is the bodice and there's a huge bust dart that needs to the marked and stitched for shaping. This pattern is the bodice lining.
Here's the dart marked in faint blue and pinned, ready to sew.
When I have darts on a pattern, I'll check the right and wrong side to see that the dart lines up and is straight.
From here, sewing the dart is simple. I begin stitching from the widest part of the dart and finish at the point. The loose thread at the point is knotted and then cut off.
Once the seam is sewn, ironing is the next step to seal the dart. As you can see below, it all worked out well in the end.
