It's simple, but very tedious. Especially sewing all the panels onto the dress and measuring the edge of the bustline and the hem so they hit where a typical 1920's dress would hit. I got the idea from the green dress Cyd Charisse wore in the movie "Singin' in the Rain." It's one of my favorite movies of all time, and I couldn't take my eyes off that Charisse's green dress. I think it looks kind of amateurish, but it was my first big project. I've only ever done fix-its and touch-ups.
