To start with you will need a tee with your selected pattern, a pencil, a ruler and fabric scissors.
Ok use your ruler and pencil and mark where you want to cut, make sure you cut off all of the sleeves. You should be left with something resembling this picture.
Now turn the fabric so the outside patterns are facing each other, and pin them together,
Sew all three sides up leaving the top open.
So once you have sewed the two sides together this is what your tote bag should now look like.
Take a piece of black ribbon and pin it across the top of the tote, once pinned sew along the top and the bottom of the ribbon.
Get your material ( I chose black to go with the ribbon but feel free to have whatever colour you like), pencil and ruler out. Measure 8cm by 50 cm, and then cut it out. Cut two of these shapes for both of your straps. Once you have cut out the 6cm by 50cm you should have a rectangular shape. Now you have your shape fold in half and sew. Once sewed together turn it inside out and sew the straps to your bag.
and there you go all done1 1 super cute tote ready for a relaxing day at the beach
