Put something cute on your fridge

This project is super easy and you need nothing more that things you may already own.

My fridge is magnetless aside from the ugly Yellow Pages lawyer magnets and who really wants to look at that everyday? So I decided to make a cute one =)

You Will Need (3 things)

  • Magnet(s)
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors

Steps (5 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Take your magnet and peel/tear off the ugly lawyer/business part..should be paper and peel off with ease.

  2. 2

You should now have one side paper (unless you peeled off the whole front but hopefully there's paper *as above* left so gluing will adhere easier) and the other side magnet.

  3. 3

Print out a picture (I photoshoped mine to add background and text) or use a recipe or even cutouts from a magazine. You could use any paper to print on..I chose photo paper. I guess you could even draw directly on the paper that's left or even use cardstock and add embellishments, stitching, or ribbon. Your choices are endless.

  4. 4

Cut and paste! Glue on the paper side of course. Careful if you did print something out that the ink is dry...I didn't really wait, just used some plastic to push down after I glued.

  5. 5

Now would be the time to stitch, embellish, or do whatever else you please to your magnet. But I am done so on the fridge it goes. It's holding a piece of paper so you know it works =)
