It's relatively easy to make this skirt once you have a pattern cut out...and it's fun to wear because it flares! Yay! It doesn't really take that long, it's just untill you cut out all the strips Just ask if any of the steps are unclear..I suck at explaining things

Take a rectangle of fabric that is about half your waist measurement. Then cut that rectangle into 1 inch strips up to the hemline. I had a lot of strips cuz I used fabric with stripes on them so it was easier to cut. It takes a while...
The place and pin your strips onto your fabric like so <--- The bottom part of the strips and the hem part should make a gentle curve. Otherwise your skirt is gonna be a little weird..trust me...I've been through that.. The more you curve your strips out, the more flare your skirt is gonna have.
The cut your fabric along your curved strips (Sorry about the lame photo)
The just sew your skirt together...nothing fancy about it. Remember to make a casing for your elastic to go through. I made my skirt a little too long and so I had to widen my casing, which actually worked out better cuz now it flares even more ^_^
Take a safety pin and stick it through the edge of the elastic. The just feed it through the casing
And Voila! You're done! The best thing about this skirt is that the pattern is extremely versatile cuz you can adjust it to whatever kind of skirt you wanna make. This photo sucks though..I just couldn't be bothered to charge my camera and take one after I added the heart pockets and lace :P
