You'll need a steady hand for this and fresh nail polishes - older ones will be too gloopy and leave 'strings' of polish instead of clean dots! My pictures are a bit crap and I screwed some of the dots up as I got tired and shaky. This is not my best attempt!!

Instructions

  1. Apply your base coat if you have one. Allow to dry, then start applying your base colour. I think white or black always looks best as the other colours will stand out more against it.

  2. Wait for your base colour to dry. Start applying your first colour in a diagonal row of dots, across the centre of the nail.

  3. Apply the second colour, again diagonally across the nail underneath the centre line

  4. Apply the third colour diagonally across the nail above the centre line

  5. Continue to add the different colours in diagonal rows across the nail until they are covered

  6. Allow to dry for at least an hour before applying a top coat, this will prevent the colours from smudging together!
