Instructions

Gather up all your ingredients. I used the Kinkajou cutter to cut down my bottle.

I bought some amazing sanding grit from e-bay. They have it available on amazon too. Pour a little of the grit onto a glass tile (I used the glass from a cheap picture frame) and a little water as well.

Using circular motions, grind the cut part of your bottle on the grit and water mixture. Keep checking the edge to see how you are doing. If you keep going long enough you can get a great finish, good enough to use for a drinking glass.

I used a dab of glue on the bottom of the bottle to secure the wick and I then melted my wax over a bain marie (double boiler) on the stop and poured the wax into the bottle.

Use a couple of chopstick or pens to keep the wick straight while the wax sets. Here you can see I very cleverly used my wire cutters!

After a couple of hours your new candle is ready to rock and roll!
