This took a lot of trial and error, but after closely looking at a binder and how everything clips into it I think I figured out how to make on. The one with two dragons is for an Armor Index and Summoners Encyclopedia. The one that looks like notebook paper is for the rest of the spare papers Edit: I figured out a better way to make a durable binder, and I made a tutorial to not just help me remember how to make one but to share this process with the world.

Gather your materials and trim out a strip of cardboard.
Next line up your paper on the cardboard piece, and use the paper as a guide for your hole punch. Punch your holes now (I’m using a card I bought at the store as a guide and it will be a “dashboard” or cover paper for the binder I’m working on.)
Punch a second set of holes next to the previous ones. Make sure they are not to far apart or too close together because both of these things can effect durability or how effective your binder rings work .
Slide your binder Rings in through the holes and then lose them.
Now, use the duct tape to secure the binder rings in place.
Optional: tape your tape down so that the binder ring doesn’t wiggle around.
Cut out the other cardboard pieces to be the size of your paper, and then trim out 1 to 3 pieces that are just as thick as the piece you cut out to hold your binder rings (we’ll call this the spine)
Now to assemble the cover of your binder you can glue paper to the “Spine” to Connect the front and back of the cover together. Your spine should be in the center of the two. Make sure to leave room between everything so the binder can fold. You can also use duct tape to bind them together. After that Glue paper to the “front” of the binder (it can be blank printer paper or patterned paper)
Get your hot glue and glue the piece from step 1-6 to the spine of your cover.
( for a binder with stays closed):For closure you can make a tiny tab like extension and stick Velcro or hot glue Velcro to the tab and to the front of the binder.
Add whatever else you want to add. Don’t be afraid to be creative! Decorate the outside and inside! You can ever use a special card as a cover page. Or use an envelope corner to hold extra papers ( This picture is of one of the cards I bought that lights up and sings “let it go” and I’m using it as a creative dashboard)
Put your paper in. And then your done!
