Vegetarian friendly Berlin inspired currywurst hot dogs!

We got to try currywurst when we were in Berlin at a late-night vegetarian take out joint and really enjoyed it. It's basically German sausage in a tomato curry sauce and I thought it would taste perfect on hot dogs with a serving of sauerkraut.

You will need

Hot dog Buns 4 Quorn Frankfurters 150 g Tomato Sauce 1 tbsp Tomato Paste 1 tbsp Curry Powder 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Cinnamon ½ tsp Onion Powder ½ tsp Garlic Powder Sauerkraut 1 tsp Sugar

Instructions

1. 

   Start boiling the Quorn frakfurters.

2. 

   Mix together the tomato sauce, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, curry powder, onion powder, cinnamon and sugar in a saucepan and heat gently.

3. 

   Toast some hot dog buns and top with sauerkraut. Place the cooked hot dogs in place and top with currywurst sauce.

4. 

   Serve hot and enjoy!
