About
Sometimes, our hair needs a beak from the heat. But does that mean we can't style our hair? No!
Not with heat free curling methods.
This method, also called rag curls or sock curls, when done with socks, is great for any hair length that wants springy, cute curls.
Let's start!

You Will Need (1 thing)
- Stretchy Fabric
Steps (5 steps, 10 minutes)

Firstly, you need strips of fabric. You can use scraps of fabric you have lying around, or an old shirt. I used an old tie-dye shirt from when I was in the Environmental Club in 10th grade.
Dampen your hair, be it from a shower or a spray bottle. I opted for a spray bottle. And then separate into two sections: top and bottom.

2
Take a strip of fabric and starting from the bottom of a small section if hair, roll the hair and the fabric up.
-
3
Then, the two end of the cloth together, securing the knot of hair from coming undone.
Repeat until all hair has been rolled and secured with a knot.
Now, sleep. Or do somethign while your hair dries. -
4
Now, unroll!
Carefully untie the knot in the fabric and gently pull the fabric, allowing the hair to fall. -
5
Run your hands through your curls, separating them. Also, brush out your curls a but so they look more natural.
I like to shake my head like a dog to get my curls to separate.
Hairspray and voila! Heat free curls.
