I needed a pincushion that I could keep in my wrist so I decided to make one and what would be better shape than a cupcake. I googled the instruction and crocheted a cupcake. I put a piece of cardboard to the bottom so the pins wouldn't sting and filled the cupcake with cotton. When I had sewn the frosting to the bottom part I cut a piece of elastic and sew in into a hoop that I attached to the bottom of the cupcake. And there it is, super cute cupcake pincushion that makes the pins look like sprinkles!
