Making Up Sew in all loose yarn ends. Block both the pieces so they lie flat. Now taking your tapestry needle and corresponding coloured yarn, sew the pieces together using mattress stitch, leaving a gap of 10cm to stuff the cupcake. Stuff the cupcake. Sew the gap closed. For the finishing touch, make a small pom-pom using the red yarn and a 7cm diameter cardboard circle. Now, using the tail of yarn left, stitch the pom-pom to the top of the cushion.
