Simple and quirky, you can use sugru to make cufflinks for anything you could possibly imagine.
Gather your supplies. Use whatever colour Sugru you like, the funkier the better in my eyes! You could use a flat lego piece or a chunky brick like I did and they don't have to be indentical either.
Start off by rolling a blob of Sugru in to a sausage like shape and then mould it in a cone like shape to one side of the button. Don't be worried about finger prints on the Sugru just yet, we can sort that out later. Just make sure you thin the sugru stem out so that it can fit through the button hole on your shirt or blazer.
On the other end of the sugru column, stick the lego brick, putting a little bit of the top in to the hole in the centre of the brick and then mould it around the plastic. Using a little bit of water you can smooth out the surface of the sugru and get rid of any imperfections by working at the texture in small circles. It takes roughly 24 hours for sugru to dry and because of the hour glass shape of the sugru it's succeptable to bending in the centre and therefore giving you wonky cufflinks. So stand the cufflinks either on the button side down or the lego side down so that they set straight.
