A step-by-step picture tutorial of how to crochet the joining round. The joining round, compared to the continuous round, gives even rounds, and the separate rows can be clearly seen.

Instructions

1. 

   Slip stitch into the first stitch in the row. My stitch marker (yes, a paperclip) marks where the slip stitch should go.

2. 

   Do not slip stitch into the chains, but the actual stitch

3. 

   My slip stitch is complete.

4. 

   For my pattern, I need to chain 2 before starting my next stitch. The next stitch is where my slip stitch is.

5. 

   Then continue around the row.
