As I am still in hospital (the story can be found in my hooded-scarf project), I am still crocheting all day. I received loads of cards but the lady across the room only got one. So I decided to make her a crocheted chicken to hang on the bed to cheer up the place. I never tried to make one of these animals and the amount of yarn I have here is limited, but still I'm quite happy with the result. I used a description that can be found in the link. Unfortunately it is in Dutch, but I couldn't find an English one. Maybe for the experienced, the picture says enough. Or for a lucky Dutchy! Again, sorry for the not-so-perfect picture. I took it with a phone with light from my bed light since I have no other option here. It is quite easy to make if you know a little about crocheting. I needed some practice on other things first when I started to learn to crochet.
