You Will Need (2 things)
- 25 yd Yarn Of Your Choice
- Crochet Hook size will depend on yarn
Steps (8 steps, 40 minutes)
-
1
start by making a chain long enough to go around the width of your phone once (try to make it an odd number, it works out better)
-
2
now make a double crochet in the 4th stitch from the hook (try to keep track of where each row starts) and then all the other stitches untill the end of that row
-
3
youre crochet hook should be on one side and the other side should look almost a little rounded.
on the rounded side, find the space you made when you made the first double crochet.
put the hook through the space and pick up the yarn and pull it through. -
4
chain 3
make a half double crochet into the second double crochet.
chain one
skip the next double crochet and make another half double crochet into the next double crochet.
repeat this step and keep going around and around until the bag is just a little longer than your cellphone
***stop before the last double crochet in the previous row and chain 1 -
5
***IMPORTANT***
stop before the last double crochet in the previous row and chain 1single crochet into the last double crochet
-
6
CLOSING THE BAG
turn the bag to the left of your hookput the hook through the first crochet and pull the yarn through
do this for each of the crochets until the bottom is closed -
7
pull the yard through the end crochet and cut the yarn about 8 in.
tie a knot and you can either weave the loose ends of the knot into the bag or just double knot it and push it on the inside of the bag like i did. -
8
THE DRAWSTRING
make a chain atleast 10 inches (or it can be longer)and cut itweave it through the second row of holes (from the half double crochets)
just tie these ends together and you're done
