I found the recipe in a magazine and added the chocolate. They are good. It is very important you use the Crisco, they give the cookies their flavor.

You will need

½ cup Crisco Shortening ¾ cup creamy Peanut Butter 1 ¼ cup Brown Sugar 3 tbsp Milk 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract 1 ¾ cup Flour 1 Egg(s) ¾ tsp Salt ¾ tsp Baking Soda 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375.

2. Mix the Crisco, peanut butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl until it is well blended. Add egg, mix until well blended.

3. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in another bowl. Add to the peanut butter mixture a little at a time until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

4. Drop onto baking sheets by spoonful. Flatten with a fork. Bake for 7-8 minutes.
