Feed One Crimp Bead or Tube onto the Beading Wire, then loop it through a Clasp and back through the Crimp. Be sure wires are side by side, not crossed. Place the crimp in the OUTER jaw of the Crimping Pliers, make one firm compression. Many people skip this step, but this will shape the Crimp into an oval and help to keep the wires parallel, making a better final crimp.
Place the Crimp Bead or Tube into the crescent-shaped grove (inner jaw) of the Crimping Pliers. Make one firm compression. You do not need to use a "death grip" - that runs the risk of breaking your crimp or your Beading Wire.
Turn the Crimp 90` and place it into the Crimp Tool's semi-circle groove (outer jaw). Make another compression until the Crimp Bead or Tube is nicely rounded. *Remember, crimping is a skill like any other. It takes practice, and a gentle hand. To get the crimp nicely even, rotate your hand around the crimp while gently pressing the jaws of the tool shut.
For a fancier finish, use a Wire Guardian and a Crimp Cover! Check out this Facebook Live to learn about some additional ways to fancy up your finishing! https://www.facebook.com/Beadalon/videos/10155848966418332/
