Get a crewneck sweater of your choice. Turn it inside out.
Mark a V-neck and the neckline. Cut out the markings.
Cut ribbon a little bit longer the length of the sweater sides. The ribbon acts as the hemming.
Use the ribbon along any area that has been cut. If you need to pin the ribbon onto the sweater to make it easier to sew.
After you've done that to each of the cut pieces, make button holes. (There is a function for this on your sewing machine.)
Now you need to match the buttons up w/ the button holes and sew your buttons on. Its easier to hand sew them obviously. If you need help w/ this, take to google, pretty simple tutorials.
Now you're all done if you'd like to add extra detailing DO SO. its your custom made cardigan! Be proud of it!
