You Will Need (7 things)
- Some Fancy Ribbon
- An Old, Unused Crew Neck Top
- Marker Or Fabric Chalk
- Scissors
- Pin(s)
- Needle And Thread (For Buttons)
- Sewing Machine
Steps (7 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
Get a crewneck sweater of your choice. Turn it inside out.
-
2
Mark a V-neck and the neckline. Cut out the markings.
-
3
Cut ribbon a little bit longer the length of the sweater sides. The ribbon acts as the hemming.
-
4
Use the ribbon along any area that has been cut. If you need to pin the ribbon onto the sweater to make it easier to sew.
-
5
After you've done that to each of the cut pieces, make button holes.
(There is a function for this on your sewing machine.) -
6
Now you need to match the buttons up w/ the button holes and sew your buttons on. Its easier to hand sew them obviously. If you need help w/ this, take to google, pretty simple tutorials.
