Using old pillow forms, a pile of discarded button-down shirts and either a sewing machine or hand stitcher, you can create kids' activity shirts or more "grown-up" throw pillows, all highly huggable. Description

Using old pillow forms, a pile of discarded button-down shirts and either a sewing machine or hand stitcher, you can create kids' activity shirts or more "grown-up" throw pillows, all highly huggable. You Will Need: - Old button down shirts - a handheld stitcher or sewing machine - pillow forms - pins - optional: felt scraps, glue, yarn and puffy paint to make accessories

Instructions

  1. Small 6b no sleeves

    Starting with a clean, ironed shirt, cut off the shirtsleeves.

  2. Small 7 shirt inside out  stuff with pillow   pocket

    Turn the shirt inside-out and place pillow form inside.

  3. Small 8b pin across starting  in middle

    Pin your desired seam location on all four sides.

  4. Small 9 stitch 1

    Trim excess fabric and sew along pin outline.

  5. Small 16a a unbutton pillow

    Once all four sides are done, trim any excess fabric and turn the shirt right-side out. Insert pillow form inside the cover, and button shirt closed.

  6. Small holdon heart
