Using old pillow forms, a pile of discarded button-down shirts and either a sewing machine or hand stitcher, you can create kids' activity shirts or more "grown-up" throw pillows, all highly huggable. You Will Need: - Old button down shirts - a handheld stitcher or sewing machine - pillow forms - pins - optional: felt scraps, glue, yarn and puffy paint to make accessories

Starting with a clean, ironed shirt, cut off the shirtsleeves.
Turn the shirt inside-out and place pillow form inside.
Pin your desired seam location on all four sides.
Trim excess fabric and sew along pin outline.
Once all four sides are done, trim any excess fabric and turn the shirt right-side out. Insert pillow form inside the cover, and button shirt closed.
Give your finished pillow a big squeeze! I also made Daddy-inspired felt accessories for the pillows, which you can find via the link to our blog.
