get that portfolio ready and land that job
get that portfolio ready and land that job
get your material ready, sort by what matters most to the job you are applying to for example I am applying for a job that requires me to do packaging and print media so I would put packaging first, followed by print, then photography and illustration
now if you don't have a ink jet printer at home, go to a prink shop. You need good quality prints to show off and use good quality paper, I use card stock
now cut out your prints I use double sided tape to adhear the print to the black card I use in my portfolio
start with your resume
then add what is most important for your job, for mine, its packaging
then what is 2nd for me print advertising
then 3rd most imp photography
then the least imp, but still needs to be shown off
