This is a Scottish dessert. I made it as the dessert for our Burns Supper. This recipe usually has the oats laced with whisky but I used vanilla instead as my kids were going to eat it. The oats & fruit can be prepared in advance but for the best results you should put it together at the last minute.

Toast the oats in a pan or in the oven. Leave aside to cool.
Place the raspberries in a bowl & add the 2tbls sugar. Place into the fridge until needed.
Just before you are ready to serve.... Whip the cream until soft peaks. Add the vanilla & honey to the cream & mix. Add the icing sugar.
Place some of the oats into the bottom of your serving glass/dish. Top off with a few raspberries. Add the whipped cream on top. Continue to do this to make up layers & finish off your ingredients. Top the glass/dish off with a few of the oats & a raspberry or two.
